The Architectural Principle

MyTaleSpace is built on one architectural conviction:

that the infrastructure for conscious subjectivity must itself be built consciously.

Every technical decision in the system follows from this.

The Distel as Identifier

In MyTaleSpace, a person is not identified by an email address, a phone number, or a username.

They are identified by their Distel — a unique pattern generated from the subject's own signal.

The Distel is not assigned from outside. It emerges from within.

This is not a convenience feature. It is a structural commitment: the system cannot reduce a person to a credential that someone else issued.

Privacy by Design

MyTaleSpace does not build conventional identity profiles.

There is no email database. There is no profile that can be harvested. There is no advertising layer that monetises identity.

Where the system does hold subject-linked records, they are pseudonymised — structured so that a trace cannot be casually re-identified — and handled as protected personal data, not as a marketable asset.

The subject's trace — their SHPUR — belongs to their history. The system holds the record. The system does not own what the record contains.

When a subject leaves, what they built does not disappear. It remains as part of the provenance chain — without identifying them to anyone who comes after.

The Three Valencies

Every participant in MyTaleSpace moves through one of three orientations:

Build — creating within the system. Generating new artifacts, pathways, or connections.

Support — holding space for others. Making it possible for others to build or move.

Protect — maintaining what exists. Ensuring the integrity of what has already been made.

These are not assigned categories. They are observed patterns — the natural orientations that emerge when a person operates consciously within a shared environment.

What AI Does Here

MyTaleSpace uses AI infrastructure throughout.

But AI in this system operates differently from AI in most platforms.

Most platforms use AI to capture attention, predict behaviour, and optimise engagement.

In MyTaleSpace, AI does not do any of these things.

AI holds space. It witnesses the subject's presence. It reflects what it observes. It routes — directing attention without directing conclusion.

AI does not decide what is true about a person. It does not replace the person's judgment. It does not generate the subject's identity.

The subject generates the subject's identity. AI is the infrastructure that makes that generation visible.
